I just got home and was flipping through the channels and noticed the Nba tv channel. For U-Verse costomers its channel 1632 for Nba HD. If this isnt new news lock it up but I didn't hear anything news about U-verse adding Nba Tv.
Awesome. I was wondering if Uverse had it. Not having it would have been a problem. ESPN basketball highlights only? Ugh. Awesome news. Kinda seems fishy they would add it at this point in time with the Fox dispute and millions of people missing their local NBA team ehhh?
Noticed it this afternoon, as well. Perfect timing for the Nugs game on Saturday. I'm in Austin, and have the U-Verse package with FSN Houston... I remember DD saying that Rockets games are blacked out in ATX on FSN for some reason, is this really the case?
I am by no means trying to be a downer here, but I heard a commercial yesterday that there will be a free trial of NBAtv and League Pass the first week of the season. It didn't say which service (unless it was for all). Could this be the sudden reason for having it?
Say it aint so I'm trying to find some kind of official confirmation that the channel was added for u-verse customers.

I just noticed as well....Hopefully they add league pass!! I'm able to watch Mavs vs Bobcats on FSDAHD (1753) hopefully the Rox wont be blacked out on FSHOHD...btw im in el paso area...
I don't think so, at least I hope not. ATT U-verse never even carried the Channel so there was no option for League Pass at all. NBATV is on but I don't see any League Pass games... Anyone getting out of market games on their Uverse sets?
even if you are watching a free preview of NBAtv on U-Verse, which you probably are, it still means that U-verse added the network to its lineup of available channels. check to see if they offer a sports package or a variety tier on top of your cable package.
I have the U450 package which includes all the channels. I hope U-Verse wouldn't do us like this. I was very upset when I found out U-Verse didn't have Nba Tv after I signed a 2 year contract with them.
You're seeing NBA HD...It doesnt show games, just highlights. I just checked my online account to see if I can upgrade, or if League pass is available...nope. I'm in Dallas...I wish i could watch the games on tv but online is my only option. Last night was great because it was on TNT. :grin:
Im in DFW (HEB area) and have AT&T uverse. u can watch tonight's game on 1755 FSHOHD. i dont have the sports upgrade package but i still get this channel. I dont think they had this last season or else i watched the games on crappy online feeds for no reason.
i will be pissed if uverse gets league pass now, i just bought dish network at my gfs so we could get LP, at my apt I have uverse and it was just too much hassle and cost to leave and go with different cable and internet providers. so my need to watch the rockets on an full size hd screen lead me to purchase satellite at my gfs house that had no tv or cable. it all gets installed tomorrow, if their is some chance uverse got LP, im sure my only chance to cancel would be before the installation process.
