Been a while since posting on CF. I do check in once in a while though. Just wanted to let my old friends know that I am finally getting married through the church this Saturday. After about a three year annulment (dissolution) process, the day is almost here. We'll be having a church wedding and family unification ceremony. My youngest son will be the ring bearer, the two oldest will escort Tara down the aisle, and my biological son will be at my side. All the boys will be at my side for the ceremony, and we will exchange vows with the boys. What a journey to get here, and this Saturday, a new journey begins.
Congratulations. Family unification ceremony? How new age. Seriously, though, sounds appropriate to your situation and kinda cool.
My wife and I did a family unification ceremony with my biological daughter, during our wedding. Symbolism and ritual are important.
Congrats... You should go all out. Kick Mr. Wallet's ass and tell him to go to hell.... this is your wedding day, make it as fun as possible.
Diferent things. Ours is simply going to be reading vows to the children and involving them in the marriage ceremony.
