If we say goodbye to Chuck and strike out in free agency, I am expecting to hear this a lot at the start of home games, and feel pretty good about it. He is by far the most ready among the front court guys for more minutes.

Just seem silly to mefor people to talk about Thabeet being the successor of Chuck's role.

    How u?

You could be right, it could also be Jordan Hill, or Thabeet......

You just never know what McHale likes.

Big If on Thabeet. He needs more time if he pans out.
Hill is inconsistent. Patrick is a leader by example so easy peasy choice here.

I agree Pat proved he could do some damage on the offensive end and his athletisism and defense were a very pleasant surprise. The guy can flat out jump out of the gym. I think we need more PPat on the floor.

I want to see Thabeet, simply because no one else has, lol...

Playing some C would be good for Pat though. He needs to up his rebounding. When he moves back to PF he will be a beast...

I think it might just work. The guy is not tall, but is f***ing wide. And not wide in the Fat Ass Barkley sense. He gives the impression that he could kick ass in a one to one fight of about 95% of the guys in the NBA.

    Play Pat or J-Hill.

Thabeet can come off the bench.

It'll send a bad message to the players if someone who hasn't proven anything gets to start over those who have, especially when they're all young players.

-The Rockets have asked for more time from Chuck. Meaning they are using Chuck as a backup option if the Center, or Centers they are chasing decide to go elsewhere.

I am confident from everything that i hear that the Rockets will be able to sign or trade for a center no later than next Wednesday. Look for possibly a signing of a guy like Dalembert as well as a trade.

Put me down as one who thinks Patterson would be very effective at the 5. He's got decent size and he's got the hops to play that silly fronting defense to shut down low post centers like Yao used to be. I like the fronting defense in the post. It requires great point guard passing to beat it, especially if the dude playing it is a huge athlete with good wingspan and hops. That's Patrick.

PPat is not strong enough to man the C spot. 6'9 sure...but remember the 6'6 guy we most likely just lost had unreal/unbelievable strength. It'd be better handled by J chill and the beet instead.

No way Patterson can play the center position full time.

He would get abused by Howard, Bogut, Bynum, Nene, etc.

I'm all for playing the young guys but Lowry earned that spot and should not be on the bench unless Flynn out plays him. Also Kevin Martin has to stay on the court too bc he's not that old and we don't want to upset our current best player.
