Tuesday, June 10 @ 6:05 p.m. CT Miller 4-6, 4.67 hope he has another great outing. @ Mussina 7-4, 3.09 Mike Mussina (7-4), who has 88 strikeouts in 85 1/3 innings, pitches for the Yankees. I hope Bagwell gets out of his slump soon... Jeff Bagwell went 0-for-3 Sunday and did not hit a home run for the 32nd straight game. The drought of 121 at-bats is the longest homerless drought of Bagwell's career. His previous worst stint was 120 at-bats from Aug. 6-Sept. 14, 1992. Bagwell hit a career-high 10 homers in April but has just one long ball since.. Astros are on fire, winners of 7 straight which include back to back sweeps!. The astros only had 2 sweeps all of last season!! They already have 5 this year. Morgan Ensberg is HOT!! He is batting .340, and can't seem to not connect with the ball. Castor, how do you find out the probable starters for the other games? I can't find them online. Is it just a rotation of the starting line up? Like Oswalt is up next after Miller...
I wasnt sure because I thought they might choose when to use certain pitchers rather than just rotate them.
I hope we win 2 out of 3. We are hot now. However, we may be intimatedated by the Yankees. ( Braves ) who we cant seem to beat.
The best will be seeing Bags go up against bean-town and the Green Monster...I can only hope his home-coming will be sweet--like big, fat dingers over the new seats in the Green Monster!
Starters: Wednesday, 7:05 p.m: Jose Contreras vs. Roy Oswalt Thursday, 7:05 p.m: David Wells vs. Jeriome Robertson
Two things: 1. He's been sick and MAY not start until Saturday. 2. If he does pitch Friday, then the Yankees are staying with their rotation. Since they don't have any weak starters, there is no reason to drop one unless they are hurting.
go to the baseball section at ESPN they have the probable starters. That is where I get all my stats and starter info from.
WWW the streak will roll to 10. bagwell will get out of his slump...however biggio, kent and doggy will enter a slump. but the pitching will prevail. oswalt...complete game 3 hitter.
have i mentioned i'll be in boston for the first game of the astros-red sox series?? oh, i have??? carry on then...
Dang....i am envious. Well, I shall be back in houston in a couple weeks. I can't wait to attend games at Minute Maid park again. Let's go Stros!!!
i'm soooooo excited!! still haven't decided if i should wear my 'stros cap to the game...given the subway ride back to my hotel room alone.
You MUST represent the 'Stros, Max. A mere hat might not be sufficient, might I suggest an '80s rainbow-gut jersey as well. The drunken morons in the Wrigley bleachers loved mine the last time I was there.
did they love it by pouring beer all over it?? if i were going with a friend, i wouldn't hesitate. it's that subway ride back to the hotel after we kick their ass that has me a bit hesitant.
Are you going to be back during the Stros/Ranger series 06/27/2003--06/29/2003? We should definitely get some rowdy folks together for that one!
