Astros WS05 Pitching Line Up?

    Is it Final yet?

    Game 1: Clemens
    Game 2: Pettitte
    Game 3: Oswalt
    Game 4: Backe
    Game 5: Clemens
    Game 6: Pettitte
    Game 7: Oswalt

    is this correct???

    Game 4 will never be "final" for either team. The manager can choose to switch it up and use a three man lineup.

    Well let's hope it doesn't come to that for the stros... that would mean we are down 0-3 before game 4.

    yes..that's what i've been reading for a couple of days.

    but as fatty said..it's subject to change all the time.

    why not go with pettite first? get clemens more rest?

    it's garner people...he could change it, one hour before the game. but i think, and so does everyone else. it's going to be clemens in game 1 and then pettitte and oswalt. i like the lineup. even though clemens has been just "good" in the playoffs on the whole for his career he's been lights out in the WS, 3-0 with 1.3 ERA. i think it's important to have him going first.

    I wish Oswalt would get more starts earlier in the series. Ideally I wanted him starting the 2nd and 6th games just like in the NLCS. That's why stretching out the series to 6 games messed us up. If we would have won game 5, Oswalt would have been set up to start 1 and 5, which is just as good or better as he could have set the tone for the series.
