Last series I said expectations was 2 out of 3...My expectations this time, dare I say is a sweep. I really think we have the pitching advantage, and karma on our side 3 out of 3!
Brewers started out hot, we b**** slapped them (like we always do) and brought them back down to earth. Let's do it to the Reds now. Step up to the plate, Reds. It's time to take your medicine. WWW
I think we actually would agree more than disagree, at least we agree we are both hard headed fans who care deeply for this team. I hope Burke is still at SS, I did not get to see how he did in the last game. DD
How did Burke look at SS the other night? I did not get a chance to see the game? I heard he had one bad throw, but how many chances did he get? Any turns of DPs? Thanks, DD
Badly botched a routine grounder, only play he had all night. He can definitely be a starting SS if the ball's never hit to him.
He only got one ball hit to him all night....ah man.....how dissappointing, maybe he plays there tonight too. DD
I suspect until Everett is healthy, Burke will get the vast majority of the playing time. In a close game in which they are ahead, Bruntlett may relieve.
Pretty sure he will. Having only one ball hit to him was anything but a disappointment...godsend is more like it. You're not seriously saying that Burke should/could be a starting SS, are you?
That is exactly how I see it. I think they really want Burke's bat in the lineup. Bruntlett will be in when matchups warrant it and also if we have a big lead or for defensive purposes late in games.
Andy pitches on Saturday. He induces a torn of ground balls to the left side - so hopefully Adam will be back by then. Chris is hit the covers off the balls now - so hopefully his offense will make up for his defensive shortcomings. And talking about the ball he made an error on, I bet Bags could have picked it. Chris did his best - he had to range to his left to get the ball - his only mistake was that he did not put enough umph on the throw to first (probably threw the ball off the wrong foot). Is Roy Oswalt 14-0 against the Reds? I do not see why he cannot continue the streak. WWW
