if rockets tickets were as affordable as astros tickets, it absolutely would be like that.

Well there are thousands and thousands of tickets left for every astros game other than opening day.

FYI, baseball opening day is a big thing

FYI, it has only been like this in Houston for a few years now (other than 2000 when the new park opened and the last 4 years) before you could walk up on opening day and get tickets.

Having an extra 14,000 seats in the Dome didn't hurt.

A 20 dollar seat in Toyota puts you a whole lot closer to the action than that 20 ticket at minute maid.

In 2001, 2002 and 2003 I walked up and got tickets. I also walked up and got tickets every year in the 90s.

    2000, new ballpark

2004-2005-2006=excitment over new players (2004) best seasons ever (2005) then again (2006) 2007, lets hope it's a tradition that we sellout every year from now on based on this momentum.

I have to pay 37 dollars to be close enough to really see everything I want at the Astros game. If I get a cheap ticket I just sit in the center field bar and get drunk

I had jury duty this week so I was away from a computer all day yesterday for the presale. Luckily, there were decent singles left for Opening Day. I was also able to get Crawford Box seats to a few choice games. Presale day may be my favorite day of the year - I feel like a kid in a candy store before the store opens. :D
