    We really need to get the win tonight. We have Wade pitching and we need to stop the bleeding after dropping the last 2 before it gets worse. Also, breaking up the Giants momentum would be nice as we start the series. I hope Kent plays balls out and makes San Fran fans sorry they let him go.

    The Astros have an early case of Rocketitis, and the short right field fence at Pac Bell is like a piece of medium rare chicken...

    Hey cool, we get to watch Jesse Foppert's MLB debut on Tuesday. That should be interesting.

    I think young pitchers/debutees have historically killed the Astros.

    So true, doesn't matter if they're good prospects or not, the 'Stros have struggled against guys like him the first time they see 'em. Whether or not they struggle more than any other team is something I don't know, but it definitely seems that way.

    Miller v. Moss - Stros win, low scoring game;
    Robertson v. Foppert - Stros win; Foppert scares me though, he's a big (6'6", 230lbs) RHP, but I have no idea what kind of stuff he has;
    Moehler v. Reuter - Giants win, I expect about 15-20 combined runs in this game, unless the wind is blowing in.

    Kent will have a huge series.

    BA rated him the #1 pitching prospect in baseball for 2003 so he's pretty talented. I think he's a fastball/slider type guy. I just hope it's not that heavy ass Kevin Brown type slider because that's like cryptonite to our righties.

    Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Biggio looks completely inept against a hard RH slider, he'd need a boat oar to hit some of the crap he swings at. Bags should be ok, but Biggio and/or Hidalgo might want to take a day off.

    My bad, I saw like the power rankings or something, and they said they were 9-1.

    We sweep them and prove that we are the real deal. We've been holding out.

    I seriously despise Lugo. Well, looks like Foppert is pitching tonight. He's BIG.

    This game is ultra frustrating.

    I also love the fact that Berkman, after tearing it up last game and on the path of breaking out for the season, was benched for tonights game. Way to stop the momentum Jimbo.
