I just want to see some promising baseball from Willie T and Self....and hopefully a healthy outing by Pettitte....as for Zeke, it would be nice to see something promising out of him as well...because he is losing confidence fast.
i think they are going to handle Wandy with care....the only thing that breeds confidence in these young putchers seems to be W's...I would rather see Wandy pitch at home for the most part against teams we can beat....I dont want to see him get lit up like Zeke.
Yeah, you're probably right. Just seems to me, if you're going to throw him out in Chicago on only 3 days rest for his first MLB start and he throws a good game, you'd give him the nod over a guy whose last start saw a double digit inning.
WWL Wes Obermuller is starting for the Brew Crew on Saturday. Something tells me Pettitte will be a late scratch on Sunday and Wandy will start in his place.
Why the hell is Phil putting in Jason Lane rather than Todd Self. Lane is hitting .100 vs. left handers.
- Self only has 4 ABs against LHP - Lefties haven't done diddily-poo against Davis this year - Lane went 2-4 with a 2B againt Davis earlier this year - Maybe Scraps wants to get him in a situation where he's had success, see if that can help bust him out of a slump?
