The signing of Amador is the first sign of the front office making a win sooner rather than later type of move, if that makes any sense. Amador is 26 years old but the dude has raked in Mexico for over four years.

haha I like this guy already! as I've said before, Luhnow told me he (and the team) want to market towards the hispanic demographic in Houston, and this guy will certainly be a fan favorite if he makes the majors. Even more hilarious that is last name is "Amador" (lover).
It looks like he ate Carlos Lee... And maybe Berkman, too. Has anyone seen them around lately? We should be concerned for their well-being.
