    who is your second favorite team and why?

    I'd have to say Phoenix by default. I don't really LIKE any other teams, but Phoenix is the most entertaining. It used to be Sacramento back around 2001 when they really had the chemistry going with Miller/Webber/Christie/Peja/Bibby/Divac/Jackson. I could watch them play for hours and hours and never get tired of it.

    EDIT: I just realized this might fit better in the general NBA forum. If need be, feel free to move it. Sorry.

    Not a damn one...I don't even really pay attention to the playoffs or anything if it doesn't involve my team.

    Orlando Magic. I thought they were fun to watch and a team to beat since they took the bulls in the ECF back in '95. true they got swept by us :D , but their 1-2 combo was exciting to watch. After Shaq left, and Penny started sucking, I started to feel real bad for them. Things started to turn around and they got Grant Hill, then of course...t-mac! He was already a hoss when he blew up and got most improved, and his insane highlights back in orlando were just awesome. Him coming to Houston was a blessing for us, and a misfortune on Orlando's part. Now they have steve so I don't really have any other reason to NOT like them.

    Weisbrod is a jackass however, and the fans there do suck with the T-mac bashing. But I have no quarrel with the organization.

    Aside from the magic who I sorta like...I hate everyone else with a passion.

    None...other teams bore the hell out of me.
    There's no way I could ever root for another WC team.
    And EC hoops bores me silly.

    I did use to like the 1995 Pacers and really wanted the Rockets to play them instead of Orlando that summer. When Reggie Miller scored 8 points in 3 seconds, or whatever it was, that was amazing. That Knicks Pacers series that year was awesome.

    I have two favorites

    The Rockets

    ...and whoever is playing the Lakers !

    seriously, I follow a couple of eastern conference teams - 2 years ago it was the Cavs, Magic (tmac) & Pistons (see above)

    last season, I followed the pacers

    this year I think I will keep an eye on the Nets !

    I like the Pacers second. Classy organization and I like Reggie, Ron and Rick alot.

    The Rockets are the only team I root for.

    As far as which teams are most exciting to watch, this is my list:

    1)Rockets
    2)Phoenix
    3)Miami
    4)Sacramento(pre 2005)
    5)Dallas

    I don't have another favorite team besides the Rockets.

    I was rooting for Detroit when they were killing the Lakers last season though.

    Exactly. I only watched the Mavs series to watch them LOSE! :) but other than that, I really didn't watch any of last season's playoffs.

    I don't really like any other teams.
