So you all in Texas must make your time. Food supply dominance is on its way, and you cannot stop it. See how they approach! The conquistador of grocers is nigh. And since they don't advertise, you'll have to take this illegal film made by San Franciscan Carl of Carl's Fine Films. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OdB7GDZY3Pk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OdB7GDZY3Pk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
texas isn't listed as a coming soon, though i wish we were that video summed it up better than i can. i love that place.
BTW...I miss Trader Joe's. Used to shop there all the time when I lived in LA. Wish they would open in Texas.
I love Trader Joe's. We don't buy a ton of stuff there, but their dairy is super cheap and good quality. That was one of the nice pickups when we moved to Seattle: a much better selection of grocery stores.
YES YES YES every Trader Joe's I go to here in So Cal is like MILF Island in there especially the West LA location and the San Dimas location They just opened up a location in Westwood I haven't shopped at that one yet but I am sure its more of the same.
We have Whole Paycheck here also -- so I get a little touch of Austin! I like them but I don't see how they survive, given their prices and cheap places like TJ's.
I wish we had Trader Joes and Sprouts in Houston... I get my necessities at Whole Foods every couple weeks. Hella pricey, but they carry stuff normal grocery stores don't.
I live down the street from the Trader Joe's in North Beach. Gotta love the Charles Shaw, aka "$2 Buck Chuck."
Even if some of Trader Joe's products are available in other stores, doesnt hurt to have stores focused on its particular theme. That cant be the case for every little theme obviously, but it works well in their case
