Ok, I've seen this 3 times in the past week. What's the deal with Asian women walking around in public places holding each others' hands? I'm talking about places like the grocery store and the mall. What's up with that?

1 bottle of cherry coke - $1 new monitor - $350 new keyboard - $40 best Simpsons quote on the BBS, EVER...priceless...
In the grocery store did you see them buying a whole bunch of milk too? If so they're obviously terrorists.
Please specify: one old, one young, both young, both old, or what? Two of these scenarios could lead to a MacBeth thread. (even though I have NEVER EVER read that thread everyone talks about). I know younger Mexican girls will hold their mother's hands... but... I don't know... it still seems weird to me... I'd expect a young girl to say: "MOM... we do NOT hold hands when we get in that mall, OK??"
apparently in the philipines people of the same sex may be seen holding hands in public places, which is simply a gesure of friendship
My Korean mother always holds her sisters and friends hands. Some asian cultures aren't as bound by the bubbles we in western culture cast around ourselves. My uncles would come visit, give big hugs, then talk to one of us singularly all the while with one arm draped over our shoulders. If it were one of my white uncles, we would shake hands, then move to about three foot of distance between us, then he would probably punch me in the arm and say how big i've gotten.
When they start undressing each other that is when it is time to get excited. Hopefully they do it near the chips and beer ailses.
It wouldn't be anything new to me. I grew up in Saudi Arabia, and the saudi men always hold hands while walking together in the malls etc.
