Asian Basketball Tournament in Houston All Star Weekend, just passing along info...
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dream League will be hosting an 8-team Asian Tournament during NBA All-Star Weekend. As of this writing, these teams are confirmed: Dream League mix team from Bay Area, Dream League team from NYC (mostly comprised of guys from 2-time defending champs in our NYC league), Texas Ballistics (perennial top team in Chinese Nationals), Houston Underdogs and Houston OCP (you know them, probably).

Please click on Upcoming Tournaments from the http://www.dreamleague.org homepage, or you can use this direct URL...

As you can see from the webpage above, it will be a rather simple tournament, an 8-team consolation bracket, since there are so many other things going on for All-Star Weekend that we don't want to miss. No more than 8 teams will be allowed, so it's first-come-first-served.

Because one of Dream League's closest friends once worked for the Houston Rockets, we're getting support from them and Houston Parks & Rec Dept. Hopefully this will lead to free or highly discounted tickets to the All-Star Jam Session. I will have to keep you posted on developments.

First off, we're getting discounted All-Star Jam Session tickets, which we will post on our webpage above shortly. So no need to buy tickets yet! Secondly, we're getting some support from the Rockets, although what exactly they can give us remains to be seen.

Other than that, we can't wait to party! Any questions, let me know. Thanks!! Hope to see you there!
