SAS is a typical reporter, talking head. He talks about everything after the fact. When Yao dominates the playoffs or wins a championship, that is when SAS will give him props. Until then, he'll keep labeling him another Rik Smits.
Stop using initials. SAS can be San Antonio Spurs or Stephen A Smith. I'm tired of the lazy typing. When you can't express yourself in a way that a wide audience can understand, you sound ignorant. You can always place the over/under at around 2 minutes before Stephen A. Smith finds a way to drop in a derisive blast on a foreign player.
I think his show is actually one of the best sports talk shows on television, if not the best. He has a way with atheletes that allows them to open up to him moreso than they would with any other reporter. He is unfair in some assessments, but when he sees something long enough he quits bashing it and mentions it in a positive light instead. during the all star break he was the only one on ESPN i saw who predicted the Rockets would be the team to come back and get the 8th spot in the west.

When during the All Star break did he say that? Everytime I've heard SAS talk about the 8th seed, all I've heard is him talk about the Kings and Lakers.
