Just a small article written by Australian team member, Sam Mackinnon. Mackinnon plays for the Reigning NBL Champs the Brisbane Bullets and is a quality player. He could make a fine 3 man in the NBA if je was a bit quicker. Reminds me a bit of Richard Jefferson - does a bit of everything.

Anyway heres the Article he wrote when his team went on tour in China. Nothing Informative but i liked it :D

Liu Xiang is extremely famous in China but if Yao or him were to walk down the streets in other Asian countries, Yao would be more recognized.

Hahahaha! This line cracked me up. Maybe they should have asked Yao to buy them some Prado bags because they beat his team.

There is always Lin Dan, the best badminton player for the past 3 years.
Guo Jing Jing, the diver who won multiple world champs.
And alot of those table tennis players which dominate every single competition they play in.

All are famous in their own right, its just that this sports is not popular in America, thats why you have no idea who they are.

... you must not understand the chinese sports world at all.

She's really popular and even I know something about her and I've been in the US for the past 13 years.

Yes, I left China long time ago, but I still follow a bit, I just do not understand why he is popular in China.

I dont know who this Guo Jing Jing is but I know you and FFZ are not talking about the same person. He refers to his Gup Jing Jing as a 'she' and you called your Guo Jing Jing a 'he'.

That's crazy, Why would you travel thousand miles to play a friendly match in the middle of your regular season? (someone mentioned before that the Aussie league regular season has already started)
