Nice article. I've had a strong sense of respect for Mbenga ever since I saw this little piece about life before the NBA. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AnGgl2Bm5Ac&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AnGgl2Bm5Ac&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Well as Carl Herrera mentioned in the other thread about this. I think he would do an excellent job replacing Mutombo. He has not gotten a lot of playing time in recent years, but he has played on championship contending teams like the Mavericks and the Lakers. He would challenge Yao to improve his game offensively espcially against those true centers in the league. He's a great defender and rebounder as well. Not really an offensive game, but at least he can dunk unlike Chuck Hayes.
