Artest - The Missing Piece We Needed?

I thought he was going to be the the piece to get us past the first round and make a run to the finals but I guess I was wrong. I'm not starting this thread just because he played poorly tonight, I'm just starting it because I don't believe hes the missing piece we need. He doesnt fit the way we play and I believe he needs to be gone by the deadline for a piece that fits (maybe a PG). I believe DD feels the same way I feel.

What is wrong with Ron Artest

What is wrong with Ron Artest?

He shoots us out of ball games, he doesn't know the offense, has possessions where he dribbles 15 seconds and throws up fadeaway shots, and he forgets that its not 1 on 5, he keeps forcing the issue.

Today he shot 1-10 from the Field, how can this team win when 3 of the most important players on this team (T-mac,Rafer) shoot below 40%, this offense stinks.

But apparently T-mac is the only one to blame.

Before he came to Houston he was focusing on offense and what he planned to do, thats what got him wrong. We don't need his silly shooting, just stick on D

Dont even talk me about this idiot.

Can you play ANY WORSE? He couldn't do anything on the post when Buckner was guarding him. He is a JOKE.

    Battier for Mike Miller

    Ron Artest for Kirk Hinrich.

    Problem(s) solved.

Better question is why does Rick still have him in the game instead of going with our most productive player like Scola.

You're right, he is the missing piece we needed to win the lottery.

I hate to say this but Ron has become a liability.

Call me crazy but Ron is the missing piece, it is just that Shane is a missed piece and we have a SLOW-THINKING, LAY BACK and WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT DEFENSE coach, plus a no D Tmac and a get-to-go Yao.

I actually think we need some of Ron's stupid plays, seriously. He can not always shoot 10% right?

No but apparently adding ANOTHER sub 40% VOLUME shooter is not a great idea.

Another Knee Jerk thread. Ron is not the problem, we aren't athletic enough to play some of these younger ball clubs. In a 7 game series however, it is a different story. Ron will tire out his opponents.

We will not be in the playoffs if we keep losing to these scrub young teams.

Not when we are the 7th or 8th seed getting swept by either LA or San Antonio.

We have to play those teams either way to win a championship, unless getting out of the first round is your only goal.
