I don't understand why Adelman does not give him plays to post up.We are wasting his talent, size and everything. Even JVG suggesting posting him up.Who is guarding him anyway? Even Kidd or Nowitzki can't guard him posting up. It is just a simple strategy and we can't even consider it.I am fine with Tmac posting up but not all the time and he should share the posting up duties with Artest. All I can say is Artest is a great player because he found ways of scoring in this game just by being a scrappy player. He could have scored 20 or more and put them in foul trouble. Artest found his OWN ways to score in this game and not by Adelman's plays.

Uh, posting up requires you to actually hit your layups and make your FTs, 2 things Artest had trouble doing tonight.

You post him against smaller players, tonight J Kidd was guarding Tmac.....that is who should have been posting up.

He did not hit those layups not from posting up but from getting those rebounds and passes. There is a difference if he actually posted up because the defense will react in a different way. I agree Tmac should post up Kidd but Artest can post up Kidd,Terry or even Nowitzki. He would have scored more not only in this game but in our previous games as well. I believe it is big factor in pur succes if there is an actual play for him and not for him to wait in the 3pt line all game long.

Like previous posters said, his layups haven't been falling... neither has his free throws.
