    Breaking news...

Artest revealed before Sunday's 114-108 exhibition victory over the Clippers that he has been seeing a Houston-based sports psychologist regularly since last season. The sessions have helped him overcome his well-chronicled anger issues, cope with the pressure of joining the star-studded Lakers and learn how to set aside his ego and become a better teammate.

From a Yahoo! article. I think it's amazing what his sports psychologist, not contract money, did. Ron has gone a season, plus half a preseason incident free. It's has to be the shrink right?

He WILL have at least one incident this year with LA.

Guess it's too much to ask the shrink to also cure his tardiness issues, and his lack of clothing issues...

This is the NBA dish forum, Aussie. This thread has nothing to do with the Rockets.

P.S. it IS time to move on.

Thats what Morey and Ron wants you to believe. They were incident in houston. The rockets just put in in house so we never heard of him. And they were saying how he would scream at our young players. I wouldn't be surprise if the lakers tried to trade him in the offseason.

Will the psychologist help his FG% and shot selection?

If the psychologist can cure his i-will-shoot-no-matter-what attitude. Then Artest might actually mesh with the Lakers.

There will be problems simply because artest is hood, and kobe is good. The ONLY reason it wasent seen here is because nobody on last years team was good enough to carry the offensive load. therefore there was a green light on offense. now in LA.. its yield yellow to kobe. its represents another part in life where in order to become better u must become less. makes perfect sense... but not to a hood dude. not to artest it wont.
