Anyone going on Sat? I always have a good time. http://www.orangeshow.org/parade2000/index.html sorry if already posted, I have a hard time finding stuff.
I'll be headed over that way. At 10am that morning there is a meeting of the Houston MINI Motoring Society at Kava Kanes (downtown across from Cabo) if anyone wants to come by and check out a wide variety of MINI Coopers in one place.
Heres a good link. http://www.houstonartcarklub.com/ Anyone going to the Art Car Ball on Thursday? I am Fo'Sho'! although I'm not too excited about the St. Arnolds...
I would be there if it was still on Saturday. Why did they ever change it? If i remember right (don't see why I would) St.Arnolds GAVE out beer a few years ago. Or maybe it was free wine...
what do you got against St. Arnolds? Best local brewed beer in Houston!! I may be in the parade!! Not sure just yet. I have a buddy who's has an art car that will be in the parade, if his first choice backs out, I will ride shotgun!
Hey, I and many friends are so playing frisbee golf at the Sabine Bridge course, starting at 10am. It ends right were the parade begins. It is the best course in town...although only 9 holes..sigh. But it is so fun. We've done this with art car for the past 5 years.
oh, the start of the course is Sabine Street Bridge (the north side) adjacent to the water treatment facility or whatever. Across from the new Sabine town homes next to Fonde Recreational Center. Please don't park in my spot.
it would take rockHEAD to like the beer of a hopsHEAD! I'm not too much of a hoppy hops style beer, ichhhh!!! But they have done well for themselves, thats for sure. Maaan, just gimme the King of Beers and I'm doin' fine.
Hey, same here, I am not a hoppy beer fan. Fortunately, it's not all hoppy. Their Lawnmower is good and refreshing and light. If you don't like hoppy, stay away from their Amber, Brown and Pils. For a heartier beer try their Bock, Stout and Oktoberfest brews... rH is not affiliated with St. Arnold Brewery
Yeah riight! LOL! YEah , well the thing is I served their beer at their booth one time at the beerfest one year. I think it was the Ambers and something else. Anyhow, they hadn't discovered those new varieties yet. Cool, thanks rH!
