Arrested Development Box Sets

Yes it is. Holy ****. Too bad I've already convinced most people I know to watch/buy the DVD sets. Although I have a secret santa thing going on I need to get a gift for.

 

What is Arrested Development? Is it about kids growing up in jail or something?

 

Crap. For a birthday present six weeks ago I dropped 30 bucks on the season one by itself. Not even sure if they've watched it, either.

 

It's the best comedy since Seinfeld and the original Office. The dad's an exec in jail for Enron-like circumstances, but the plot is never the point. Sharpest comedy you may ever see.

How does this show compare to Curb Your Enthusiasm?

I'll be honest, I've tried watching it on G4, but can't seem to sit through a whole episode. Maybe it's because I have no idea what's going on

 

I like Curb, I find Arrested Development even funnier. Although it's ok to jump in the middle, it really is better if you watch from the beginning of the season because the plot is continuous, and there are quite a few jokes that reference earlier episodes.
