http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking-news/story/965735.html BY ROBERT SAMUELS rsamuels@MiamiHerald.com An afternoon shootout at a busy Burger King restaurant in Miami left a potential robber dead and the customer who shot him seriously wounded. The second amendment is great.
Wow, the customer had 'several gunshot wounds.' While the knee jerk reaction is to say, "Bravo, that'll teach him!" It's incredible that no one else was injured/killed.
Lol you try to rob a Burger King instead you get shot at.....unfortunate he died, really shouldn't be smiling....
Sounds like the guy with concealed carry permit knew how to shoot better than the robber. Good. Everyone who carries should be a good shot.
Nothing is safer than a shoot at in a busy restaurant If Mr. Concealed Weapon had mistakenly hit another customer. . . he could be sued right? If he killed said customer . . he would goto jail right? Rocket River
After all the tens, if not hundreds of thousands killed by needless handgun violence there are bound to be a few cases where the bad guy gets it. I think that gun owners should have to pay a tax on their guns which is high enough to cover all the medical and funeral expenses of those who are needless victims of this anachronistic policy.
you have any numbers to even remotely back this up? Do you have the same opinions for car accidents (number 1 killer of teens)?
he would go to jail if the person lived or not. It is illegal to shoot someone who is innocent regardless of if they live or die.
People essentially already pay such a tax for cars. It's called auto insurance. Not that I'm saying I agree with such a tax on guns.
Some people still would like to protect their communities, instead of being liberal babies who rely on the state.
Till this day, Chris Rock had the best idea on gun control. Make bullets expensive as hell! Not sure how well that would work but it was very funny.
He suggested well lets just see If someone goes and kills themselves and a few other people in their car I don't pay for that. If they have only liability insurance and it was a one vehicle accident then they are stuck. The analogy to auto insurance would mean that we all share the cost for everyone to have full coverage and we expand full coverage to pay for funural costs and health care caused by autos.
