Why is Ariza allowed to wear the number 1? Did Tracy change his number or something? I know he's going to be playing this year eventually so who is going to be wearing the number 1? Also, how come the Rocket's are wearing their red jerseys at home tonight? Doesn't the home team always wear their white (light colored) jerseys at home? And their dark jerseys on the road? Has their been a rule change in the NBA? Thanks in advance.
McGrady changed his number to 3 in honor of his "3 Points Darfur" program. The Rockets are wearing the red jerseys as a tip of the hat to their "We Are Red Nation" slogan.
Oh yeah I forgot about him changing his number to 3 early in the summer, man that was a long time ago. And do you know if they are wearing Red permanently at road games or is it just for tonight?
Honestly, have these people been sleeping under a rock during the entire length of the off-season? This becomes common knowledge at this point...
It's hard to watch Rockets games in Austin now that I'm at UT. And I've stayed away from the GARM this off season.
Regardless. It's been on Clutchfans. Channel 2. Rockets.com T-Mac's blog... C'mon man, it's been everywhere.
Just google: rockets roster http://www.nba.com/rockets/roster/ Ariza is #1, McGrady is #3. Tracy decided to change his number because of his movie, 3 points, about Darfur.
anybody wanna take how many games over/under 3 more threads we are going to get on Ariza's number? This is pretty bad, a whole month of preseason and 3 games into the season and someone still asking about Ariza's number and even had multiple threads when Tmac changed his number and Yoyo giving us his Morey scoop 4 months ago back in Vegas Summer League..... I say, sadly over
maybe you dont know, because you didnt read the GARM in the offseason, so I will tell you that Yao is not going play this season, and Artest got traded.
AHH....another young padawah who needs enlightment!! Here are a few other tidbits that may have gotten past you: The Rockets no longer play at the Summit. Hakeem was named defensive player of the year. Shaq a$$ is apparently flavored and he would like Kobe to tell him how it tastes. Magic Johnson has HIV. The Oilers have moved to Tennesse. The reason the Rockets wore Red tonight was because they saw "My life" starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman. Thank me later! kthxby.
not funny after one thread man. unless you really did miss out on everything (maybe back from a coma or the north pole) then i forgive you
I didn't know Austin didn't have the INTERNET during the summer. I wonder if this message is going to come through... If you can spend thousands on tuition this semester, $135 for an entire season of NBA broadband is not a bad idea.
