Glad it was just his house. Nobody would mess with that guy in person and get away with it.

I think the worst fact of this off-season is the Rockets do not have a first round pick. I know a late pick isn't going to change much, but it always keeps things interesting and gives you extra possibilities.

hope we sign someone good, but we will still need a trade to compete with the warriors-cavs.

That's frustrating. Trading for Lou was an semi-all-in type move. Could've worked out great if we would've went ahead and picked up a playmaker and a stud paint defender for the rotation.

The last time someone robbed an NBA player's house, it was some kid and he got 3 years of jail time for it.

Given Ariza's salary and the current pay scale, he's getting robbed by the Houston Rockets to the tune of about at lest $5 million a year.

Ariza reported to authorities on the scene that his jump shot is indeed missing in addition to the jewelry. And police have confirmed during the press conference that there was absolutely no shooting in the area and that the neighborhood hasn't reported a shooting in over a decade.

It's been reported that Ariza himself was seen making the breakaway steal. It's also rumored that he wants only Pat on his defense team...

Oh boy, that dude cannot catch a break. You thought the tall brick wall he built during games is going to let nobody in.

I hated living in California when I was in the military, even though I am a beach lover. I sure wouldn't choose to live there, and especially in Los Angeles. Southern Cal is a desert, where wildfires run rampant, a slight rain causes massive mudslides, earthquakes are common, hurricanes possible, and yet the only green grass you will see isn't in someone's front lawn, but in the cannabis shops. The ocean is cold, the houses are overpriced, and gangs, crime, and traffic are worse than in Houston. It's the land of nip and tuck, plastic barbies, gold diggers, and tree-hugging hippies who protest anything and everything. At least down here people are down to earth, and not trying to keep up with the Kardashians.
