If Ariza realizes this... why can't our fans?

because most fans are simply fans, not necessarily basketball geeks like DD and Durvasa to name a few.

    We all hope this happens.

But seriously, what else is a Houston Rocket affiliated person supposed to say?

C'mon now.....I'm not getting my hopes up until the Big Fella is playing consistent minutes at a high level. :)

Good attitude. Let's hope this guy continues to improve the way he did over the final 35 games of the season last year.

Oddly enough, unlike T-Mac, I think the Rockets do have something to lose if they trade Ariza so quickly. Ariza is actually a FA that the Rockets wine and dined to come here, and there were promises.

In addition, any S&T with Bosh likely has no need to involve Ariza. And Atlanta has no use for him if they S&T Johnson to us. So overall, I'm going to say 99.9% chance he's back. The other 0.1% being him doing something stupid to get kicked off, or if Lebron becomes available.

Brilliant media ploy by the Rockets organization... and as usual, unexpected.

The oft quiet Ariza is in the media, talking about the Celtics and Lakers, two famous legacy teams. This seems intentional. Why would he be talking like the Rockets are on their level unless we're trying to get free agents interested in joining up with the Red Nation. Oh, that's right, because we are trying to get people interested in playing for us. Waiting right before deadline too. Brilliant use of the media. USA Today and not the Chron? Odd enough. About how the Rockets are going to be awesome and on par with the league's best? Yes, PR move all the way. This was meant to make it to Chris Bosh or (insert name of free agents we're targeting here).

Hey i have the same attitude as Ariza. I truly believe with Yao back....the Rockets again will dominate inside the paint offensively and defensively. That's why i can't understand why Bosh wouldn't sign here if he had any thought about why Lakers won the Championship. It's because they have the BIGS inside and constantly getting 2nd chance rebounds. With Yao playing, they won't be dominating inside...i can almost guranteed you that.

So why sign with any other team? I dont' see them competiting with the Lakers BIG INSIDE MEN. Sure you get to play with Lebron, but that may lead you to no where since you still need a dominant inside presence and I don't think he can do it alone. I don't think Noah of the Bulls can create the kind of force that Yao can.

If I were in the Orient, I would tell them I was on Yao's team, too, even if I had been traded away three years ago.

Of course that's what he's saying. What else would anyone expect? (But he's right!)
