From his latest blog entry, this is in one of the sections.

    We Lost to the Spurs
Whooo, man. Did they come in here and beat us down, or did they?

It was one of them games where you start off and you hit your first basket and you like, “OK!” and you feel good about yourself and then you look up and it’s like you’re down 18-4.

That’s the same thing they did when we played at their place. From there, we’re just trying to make a comeback.

They showed their dominance that game. A team like them, a team like a Phoenix, a team like a Dallas, you know, Houston; You got to be clicking on all cylinders against them.

Those are the four teams that will just actually blow you out.

It hurt not to have Antawn. You need everything to be clicking well. You need to be playing a perfect game. Everybody needs to be hitting shots. You can’t have two players going in a slump or even one player going in a slump, you need everybody hitting shots that day. Just like they were.

Nice, I guess it's cause we just rock the Wizards and are earning the respect of other teams by performing well even without Yao. Especially that game in DC when I was there in the lower level :)

After the 2nd game, Eddie Jordan said (in so many words) the Wizards were very glad there would be no more Yao Ming until next season. That team definitely doesn't have a good feeling about playing the Rockets.

Of course, T-Mac was tearing them up before he went down, then Yao took care of the rest.

That's the kind of potential I look for when the Big Fella gets back...

Arenas is one of my favorite players, even prior to his nice comments about our team. He's a hell of a player and is gonna keep that Wizards team competitive for the better part of a decade.

Poor baby. What's the matter, can't handle the fact that Van Gundy and T-Mac have the Rockets as title contenders?

Can't give him too much credit for stating the obvious. Still think he's a jackass.

Somewhat, yes. In the fact that our name should not be mentioned anywhere near the likes of Dallas or Phoenix.

We still have no frontcourt depth (this will bite us in the playoffs), and our guard play is terribly inconsistent. Our offense is also too predictable, and that will be exploited to no end in the postseason.
