He's going to New York. He will not come to Houston.

 

I actually wouldn't want him anyway. I think he would do more to ruin team chemistry than Artest, Rasheed, Michael Redd (never got why people thought he would be a problem), just about anyone.

He's a selfish, me-first kinda player. It shouldn't come as a surprise that Washington was much more competitive and cohesive when he was out of the line-up.

 

Even if he wasn't injury prone, I'd be worried about him catching the injury jinx from wearing a Rockets jersey.

I don't think they really need him, beside could easily go get them someone who can bring equal or better skill (contributions) to the table.

He's good player for a team, like New York, Charlotte, or Indiana.

Not for any team that is going to be contending for championship.

You guys know the reason he opted out right...he wants max contract.

Which teams are willing to give him such a big contract? Only two teams have cap space and they're not going to give him anything near that.

Even if Agent Zero wanted to come here, he'll be a BYC player when he signs his new contract, which would involve a third team in the trade or simply a very, very big trade to offset the BYC implications.

In other words, not likely.

 

He isn't coming to Houston and I could not be happier about that.

The only way I see this relating to the Rockets is if the money the Wizards now have to throw around gets them Landry.

 

I wish he could sign with the raptors so that we could sign Calderon.

Or, he could sign with the pistons so that we could get Billups.

There is not enough ball to go around. He'll never be a complementary player and his fg % is poor. WE"d never get him and that's a good thing.
