How many people here are fans of basketball other than the rockets?

I enjoy going to Toyota center just because I like watching basketball. Given the lack of interest on local radio about the NBA playoffs it seems like a lot of Houstonians don't care. While the national shows talk about the playoffs on radio, on the local radio all I hear about is the the texans 5th round pick. Even some of my friends aren't really following the playoffs.

I am watching. Plus watching the Jazz get swept by the Spurs is making it more enjoyable. I would be miserable if the Rockets did make it because they would have gotten swept.

I watch most but overall, a pretty boring first round.

For the Love of the Game.

I enjoy basketball too much to not watch the playoffs.

Every year the Rockets haven't made the playoffs, I always tell myself that I'm not going to watch the playoffs. Never happens, lol.

My favorite series so far have been the Clippers/Grizzlies and Thunder/Mavericks. The rest have been boring for the most part. Most of them have been blowouts or have had players sitting out due to injuries. I'll tune in the 3rd or 4th quarter if the game is close, but I haven't watched a full game.

It wasn't always like this, but ever since a couple of years ago I've gone "all in" on the Rox team When the Rockets are playing well, every game seems so interesting, matches between the Bobcats and Raptors elicit ooohs and aaahs from me. When the Rox are losing/in a funk, b-ball is just watching overgrown men throwing balls at a hoop, meh.

Now that we're eliminated, I get my fix reading yahoo articles and seeing the occasional ESPN highlight on tv. Everything just seems so dull without my team in it, like I'm watching Lithuania vs Kazakhstan or something.

The fun will begin in the second round, so far it has been boring.

Not really. I might have watched a quarter, but I pretty much lost my interest during the last month. I'll catch some games in the later rounds probably.

I've only watched a few stretches here and there but besides the Rockets hangover it is due to these first rounds being so dull. The good stuff is yet to come but this year's is not as interesting as last year's playoff.

I am not watching half of them during the first round, but I'm watching 1-2 a night and will keep doing so as the actual # per night decreases.

I'm most following the Spurs-Jazz and Thunder-Mavs series, checking in on the Heat-Knicks and Clippers-Grizz from time to time.

I am watching the Astros. Damn, if they are not winning more than expected.

Parts of a few games; especially the Thunder/Mavs series. I want OKC to go all the way. I like the way they play, except not a big Westbrook fan. What a ball hog, but it seems to work for them?!

I watched the Thunder sweep the Mavs, the Spurs lead 3-0 against the Jazz, the Grizz/Clips & the Pacers(still can't believe the Pacers are this good). So far the Grizz are the only dissappointment, but that can change.

    watched here and there.

If the Rockets were also in the playoffs, I'd probably watch more NBA playoffs overall.

The playoffs? You mean, there is basketball after the last game of the season?

I check the scores and turn the TV on if it's a close game in the 4th quarter.

But other than that I just read the articles. It's not as fun to watch when you really don't care who wins.
