Are you THAT guy who has your girl sit right next to you in a truck with a bench seat? Are you THAT guy who has your girl sit next to you at a restaurant booth while the booth directly across the table stays empty? Are you THAT guy who goes out of his way to make sure to have your hands all over your girl in public, whether it be incessantly holding her hand or staying within sneezing distance at all times? If you are THAT guy, would you be offended if someone accused you of being insecure? Oh, btw, I loathe THAT guy.

Haha. Sorry to disappoint you...it's just been something that's annoyed me for a while now and I figured I would post it to garner feedback and to see if I'm alone in my thoughts.
Not to mention, I wouldn't have any interest in a female who would allow herself to be put in the position described in my initial post.

isn't it normal to want to sit next to your SO when you're packed in like sardines? not to mention the awkwardness of touching a "stranger", even if it's one of your friends. again, couples who like each other prefer to be close. i don't see how that's a sign of insecurity. i don't feel the need to walk her to the bathroom because i'm scared someone like you might steal her away. most of the time , my g/f sits across from me though. i just like to be able to see her when i'm talking. OMG, couples holding hands....the HUGE MANITEE!!! i'm far from insecure. and not offended. hopefully, you don't worry about it too much. don't want you having a stroke over it.
You obviously don't know what a bench seat is. Picture a truck with no console; just one long seat that extends the width of the truck. The guy is driving and his girl is right next to him witch a bunch of open space between her and the passenger side door. No sardines here. Understand? Did you purposely read over the word "incessantly" in reference to the holding of the hands. I guess that made it convenient for your response to that part of the post. If this guy isn't you, then you sure are getting pretty testy in defending the actions of the guy I describe.
lol...testy? not really. admittingly, you're right abou the bench seat. i wasn't familiar with it. and i can definitely see how that is being overboard with a g/f. as for the other things, you're just reading too much into it. i just find it funny that you care so much about what some other guy is doing with his g/f.
