    I seriously thinking about getting tix to take the Mrs to see George Michael who's coming here in July. He put out some garbage and has his issues, but there's a lot of his music I like. I think it would be a good concert. I hope I didn't just blow my street cred.

    I just checked ticket prices and he better be at the top of his game is all I got to say.

    Did anyone watch the 2nd video? I don't want to say the guy was lip syncing, but at one point he points the mic at the crowd yet you still hear his voice.

    Good for you, Tex. Never pegged you as a Police fan (although Andy Summers is a helluva guitarist, as I'm sure you know). Just finished his autobiography. Never knew he played with The Animals. Did you know he was also considered as a guitarist for The Rolling Stones? They eventually picked Ronnie Wood instead.

    We should hook for a beer (or 10) at the Police show.

    I didn't see the part you're referring to (unless it didn't seem like lip syncing to me) but there are parts of the song that are intentionally covered using a backtrack, and consider that YouTube videos tend to have horrible video-to-audio syncing.

    George Michael POST Wham. Its vital that distinction get made. Also secure enough to "liking" George Michael, and secure enough to SEEING George Michael is two separate things my friend... :eek:

    Which brings up the question: Careless Whisper, George Michael song, or a Wham song?

    This might have been one of my favorite videos growing up... so many hot supermodels... then George came out and pretty much ruined the lyrics of the song for me.
