As we all know season is over, we again lost to Utah but I don't know why - this year I feel better. Of course we were without Yao, Rafer, Francis, Battier was also hurt. We had our better and worse moments, of course we made history with that amazing 22-game winning streak. I know frustration grows because once again we couldn't stay healthly. Yao went down with that injury. But after that nobody even expected us to even reach the playoffs. But we did it, we reached PO and met Utah in the 1st round. Too bad we were very short, you can't win games in that wild West playing without your all star center and important guard. And now I wanna ask you, are you proud of this team? Or do you think we didn't do enough.
Anyone who says no is an idiot. I'm still very proud of this team. The injuries and refs were just too much to overcome.
Dude, there is no better team than this Rockets team. This team next year will be way out of the Jazz's league. They better stay around 4th seed to avoid us. I am hella proud of this team. I can't wait for Yao/T-Mac/Battier/Scola/??? starting line up. It is going to rip the west apart. There is no reason to get mad. Maybe mad at Alston for goign through injury when this team needed him most but thats kind of ... uncalled for. Other wise, you can sit there and point fingers at McGrady but this guy is still my favorite player.
Of course. Still disappointed... but kind of mixed emotions on that... this is pain in a different way. Truly painful for the guys facing a surgeon's blade this next week though.
In the end, they did their best. Our streaky shooters showed up in a few games then disappeared, but Tmac stepped up like he always does in the playoffs. He just needs some quality teammates.
i answered no just becasue its such a stupid question. Are you a moron man? Attention seeker? Bandwagoner? Did i mention moron?
Of course I'm proud. Disappointed that we lost in the first round against(especially to the Jazz), but the Rockets did about all they could without 40% of their starting lineup for almost half the series. Next year is make or break for this bunch though. I'm getting sick and tired of our promising seasons being derailed by injuries. If we can't get through one year without someone going down for an extended period of time, then management needs to blow this thing up and start over.
Very proud....Win or Lose. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/u3koWXFTKws&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/u3koWXFTKws&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Maybe for you it is stupidbut everybody has his own opinion. Somebody can say we didn't do enough in the playoffs...somebodu could say Bobby, Aaron and other players should have knocked down open shots...
im ok with the season.. like you said yao and rafer are out but in my opimion your gonna have to trade a super star and change the complection of the team some. i prefer for it to be mcgrady. He played his ass off im not gonna blame him. But about mcgrady there is something about him the screams out selfishness and not team. something about him just is not right. We need players that put the team first and give it all they have all the time throught out the season. We all know that mcgrady tends to at times give up whether it be to sit out games for little minor things or things like that. like i said he did play his butt off and its not his fault that we lost by far. but since he did play this well his trade value is up and the team management has to look and see what they can get for him. thats my opinion atleast. As far as the rockets i love them and im proud of them and i know next year we will get past the first round and then some for sure!
Very proud of the Rockets. And more excited about the Rockets than I've been since Hakeem and Clyde were still Rockets. When this team is healthy, they can contend for a championship. I can't wait for next season to begin. This was the most fun seasons I've seen in a very long time.
proud? of this team? absolutely. do i think this roster's sheer effort is going to translate to a more prosperous future? no. their heart got us as far as this game. a very respectable and admirable feat. but our future goals are more ambitious.. and since their heart is not going to get any bigger...
Why wouldn't you be proud of this team? If Celtics had played the Hawks with as much effort as the Rockets displayed, the series would have been sweep.
