Wish it had been with us; him, Yao, Artest... But I am happy for him, regardless. I suppose my distaste for LeBron has lessened as he appears to have really grown up since last season. Much respect to the Finals MVP.
What I never understood about the hate is that if he sucked so much, why did all the elite players on the elite teams wanted him so bad? Lebron lobbied for him, Durant lobbied for him. Yet these professional message board posters who almost made it to the NBA as a player, or almost made it to the NBA as an executive kept on b****ing and moaning about how he brought nothing.
I agree, but still... the Heat offered him a contract towards the end of his career, playing with two for sure HOF'ers and a chance to win a ring, I would have done the same friggin' thing. He has a ring finally, and made a lot of money playing for **** teams. Props I say.
