trade moochie if steve's magraines persist. i know there has been some debate about drafting Jason Williams from Duke for that very reason. But, if we win more games and don't get a high draft pick..........what is Moochie's value to us then?

Steve's migraines make Moochie worth his contract.

We're not gonna trade Steve. Period. We'll work though the migraines... Some treatment or other has to work.

But until we get the migraine problem fixed, Moochie is invaluable. Untradeable, unless another starting-calibre PG is netted. And NVE will cost too much...

this is what i've been thinking lately too. i was just curious because of all the trades senerios going around with mooch in the middle of the them............i know we have been more criticial of him since he is paid more now, but right now.......i'm thinking he is worth it.

He is definitely worth it right now, but if a trade comes up that's too good to pass up, or if it involves another starting-quality PG, then we'd be fools not to take it.

But IMHO, Moochie is alot better than many here give him credit for. Much better, although he is a defensive liability some nights.

Has anyone heard anything about Steve's headaches? I heard Keith Jones in a radio interview say that they weren't migraines, just bad headaches caused by something they are not sure of...
he even went as far as saying the headaches could be contributed due to a growth in Steve's ear and possible nerve endings being affected.

    Has anyone heard anything?
I mean Houston is home to some great medical facilities... what gives?

Nerve endings? What the hell good are those...cut em out, and if it is a problem in his ears cut em out too, he doesn't listend to his coach anyway.

WE NEED THAT MAN ON THE COURT !!!

I don't think we necessarily NEED Mooch. We can probably net a good PG with him, and there's also a few pickups:

    Omar Cook
    Khalid El-Amin

Clearly, lots of teams have good backup PG's, but here are some who need one:

    Portland, maybe
    Milwaukee
    Golden State
    Detroit
    Timberwolves (now)
    Cleveland
    New Jersey
    If NVE goes elsewhere, Denver
    Washington

Well, maybe Mooch is a bigger commodity than I thought. He can start a lot ofplaces, but we can't afford to have him taking overconfident shots all the time, we need a more pass-first time player. Mark Jackson, Mookie Blaylock (contract year).

Moochie is the only Rocket to play in every game this year. Just an FYI.
