Pop quiz, which recent expansion team drafted a quarterback with their number one pick in their inaugural season, won 7 games by it's third year in existance and had chris palmer as a coach?

I'm afraid that this team will be a mediocre team stuck in no playoff land for a few more years unless something dramatic happens. I don't see a difference in our offense except that david carr's favorite target now is andre johnson instead of billy miller. I'm curious by the way, has chris palmer ever had success at this level? I believe he was out by year 3 when he was with clevland. I think it's lame the way the quarterbacks are used in his schemes.

We probably don't see it but I know someone in the office has been trying to protect Carr because you can't deny it when they picked boselli in the expansion draft and tried hard to get pace. It was just unfortunate with boselli's injury and pace using us but they DID try and those were 2 elite left tackles in the game.

The Browns went to the playoffs in their fourth season. They're better.

Well, David Carr seems to be taking the Tim Couch route, so in that respect I guess we are similar.

The only difference is we had better first round picks (Robinson, A. Johnson) Cleveland hasn't had one yet.

Why did everyone pick Domanic Davis so high in fantasy drafts? I'm still trying to figure that out. Our O-line sucks and so does our qb, how can any rb be successful in that mess.

    Dom needs to go.

Shoot, we've been the old Cleveland browns too. Think about it. AFC championship losers, perennial playoff contenders, and the team jets and goes to the superbowl. ****. We are the cleveland browns.

I refuse to say David Carr sucks untill we get an O-Line that will let him throw the ball from the pocket w/o having to worry about getting the ball stripped from him every 5 seconds. Maybe in another 4 years we can pick up an O-Line. If Vick were our QB, he would never have 200 yards passing, only 200 rushing.

Absolutely not. I was just at a Brown's game. If the Texans' fans are anything like the Browns' fans, then you can say so. I was at the game yesterday against Cincinnatti and fans were cursing Bengals' fans and a lot of fights were incited. They even started hassling Browns' fans because they were sitting next to Bengals' fans. Finally, the guy next to me started insulting a guy for drinking water and I just told him to shut the hell up. He then retorted with "Beer is mostly water". That must be why the Browns lost. They drank too much beer before the game. Stupid pieces of ****.

Well, our fans threw beer on David Carr's wife after last year's embarassing loss to the Browns on the last day of the season. I'm starting to think she deserved it. :D

    Just kidding.

Because Carr throws alot of dump passes to Davis which pads his stats a little bit.

Someone just offered me Dominack Davis, his #7 overall pick, for Willie Parker, whom I drafted in the 14th round.

Well it may still work out man. I picked Jamal Lewis in the first round and he didn't do a thing either. But that colts D looked pretty good, hopefully he will pick it up.

Who's the #7 pick. Would you be able to use him on your roster? The guy might be banking that Parker will be handed the starting job. I don't think he'll start all season when Staley, who is proven, and the Bus comes back. Plus, the Bus will get alot of those red zone touchdowns which means Parker won't get those points.
