Adelman is talking about him very well and he is getting a lot of minutes. Are we trying to deal him?

Maybe. But he looked like crap against the Spurs reserves in the last game, so I'm not sure if he helped himself.

Other than Head, our only other choices at PG are a undersized mistake-prone young kid who can neither finish nor shoot well, and Rafer Alston.

Head is playing a lot because we suck at the position.

I would have thought Barry could spend some time at that position as well.

He can back up in the 1 and 2 spots. Artest can back up the 2 and 3, or even 4 spot at times. Assuming he doesn't make the starting squad of course.

The interesting thing is how things go with Head, Strawberry, Harris and Wafer.

I do not think so. He will be a reserve 2 guard.

He was alright last game overall. He was bad late game until he hit the last shot, but then again everyone else on the floor was bad too. I can see what Aldelman intends to do with the guard rotation. It looks like Head will get the 2 guard minutes vs smaller teams and Barry versus bigger ones, at least until playoffs.

Head's value is as an expiring. He would stay over VW, for example, for that reason. I could see him and SF3 dealt for a longer contract/lower total price Point (with Stevie waived/resigned).

No. He had a solid performance, especially down the stretch. BBS people just hate him. he had 7 points on 3-4 shooting, 1-1 on 3, 5 boards and 4 assists, with only 2 TOs. Not spectacular, but not bad either.

You are right he had a pretty good game. But does it really matter? In preseason?

It just means that morey n ric are intending to trade head, they have been showing head much more in order to raise his trade value. Trading him for a future pick is gonna help us by taking away the luxruy tax which is les's nightmare.

Head sucks worse at that position........the PG position and Head shouldn't even be spoken in the same sentence and Adelman knows that so I'm sure that's not why Head is playing. He isn't even a option for that position, the guy couldn't handle the ball to save his life.

I don't know why the hell else Rick would be talking about Luther playing the point when we have Rafer healthy with Brent Barry and Aaron Brooks behind him.

I think he will be traded in a deadline deal, knowing Morey we'll probably get a higher draft pick for him than the one we gave up in the Artest deal.

Compare that to Brent Barry, when he played that same position and it would look like Head played bad

Strawberry will be cut. Harris is rumored to playing for china. Head is more than likely going to be traded with a second round pick. Hoping they can keep Von.

If their intention is to trade him, showcasing him would be counter-productive.

For all the good he supposedly did, the only thing I remember is him trying to crossover a defender for about 8 seconds, then finally getting past his man and turning the ball over. I just don't see what positives he brings to this team. He's a bad decision-maker and passer; and when we're trying to run him at the point, that's not a good thing. At this point in both of their careers, I would take the inconsistent Brooks over the constantly disappointing Head.
