Hahaha we didn't let them off the hook, though. The game where they came back from 19 down, that's letting them off the hook. Getting pounded hard up the you know where from the get go is not letting them off the hook. This is why I didn't agree with those who thought the Spurs were done earlier this season. You KNEW this was going to happen. Even Popovich doesn't mind losing a few games here and there early, but now it's time to play, and they've come to play. I hope they take Dallas out in the playoffs this year. Last year they got robbed on that foul call. Dallas is out for revenge against the Heat, they want the championship, but they have the best team in the last decade with their eye on them, also looking for revenge.
Oh man LOL. Yes, absolutely the Rockets are who we THOUGHT they were. Click on the arrow on the very bottom left of the box. DON'T CLICK on the misleading play arrow in the middle of the video box.
Nah i mean how do you post it? every time i tried to post something form youtube i just get a hyper link instead of the window??
Copy the text next to where it says "embed" on the right. Just paste it in the post and you are done.
LOL can you imagine if we beat the Mavs in the WCF and Avery Johnson doing an exact version of this. "THE ROCKETS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE DAMNIT!".
rockets team is just a reflection of tmac as an individual player. nothing new... that's why jeff always reiterate thta rox is will follow where tmac leads us..

So they lost a few games around the same time, big deal! This happens to every team at some point. Even the Mavbricks when they went 0-4. Relax. The Rockets will have everyone healthy imminently. Then, you will regret posting this dumb poll.
I remember Alston screaming at Head during a huddle in the last Sonics game. I was surprised because I thought Alston was supposed to be a really nice guy, but maybe I'm wrong
I think the Rockets are a championship capable team that needs more experience before reaching that point. I think at this moment they're a 2nd round team at worst, and a WCF team at best. Anything beyond that is a bonus, and unrealistic at this point in time. Some of those early 90s Rockets teams I thought were very championship capable but couldn't get over the hump when facing the Sonics. Fortunately they never had to face them during our championship runs, but they did overcome many obstacles that I don't think they could have, were it not for their previous playoff experience. Give the Rockets a year or two, and Houston should see another championship banner up in the Toyota Center rafters.
I thought they were a championship caliber team..........and THEY ARE WHO I THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!!!! AND THE SPURS DIDN'T LET US OFF THE HOOK!!!
They are just playing uninspired ball right now. We all know they are capable of beating any team in the league when they play JVG style ball. For some reason they just aren't at this time. It could be due to all the success they had without Yao allowed the sense of urgency to lax and they aren't playing with that same tenacity. I also think the iminent return of Yao has hurt them, notice how their struggles have appeared since Yao started hanging around the team again. They see Yao and figure they can relax and wait for the big fellow to come back. It's not time to panick, JVG and T-Mac will get this team going again!
