Are the Rockets "luxuried" out with future superstars ?

I know it's probably a couple of years away until the Rockets approach the luxury tax level but...

With Stevie, Eddie, and Cat(?) eventually(hopefully) being worthy of maximum salaries, does this lessen the future likelihood of pursuing(other than through another draft coup)any more franchise type players, such as Webber this year? If Webber wanted to join them now for a long term contract, would the future concern about the luxury tax enter into the team's decision? Could that be part of the reason they've indicated they'd rather go with their own(non superstar)free agents?

Are three stars enough, taxwise? Chemistrywise?

I don't think the luxury tax is affecting the Rockets decision at all, I think it is coming down to chemistry and cap room, and filling more important needs (center position, depth up front) when it comes to going after Webber.

Oh wow that is pathetic! I know Clutchcity has become popular, but people copying things left and right from it is sad! And I see our old friend hetro doxy lurks over there!

Hey guys thanks for watching my back on the plagerism. That's entirely too funny and no, it's not me over there using another name.

I recently discovered this site before the draft. It is hands down the best site I've come across for any team in any sport!

Anyway, I appreciate your helping break in this 42 year old free agent rookie and 21 year fan of the Rockets.

Wow--who would have thought Steve Francis himself would answer one of my posts. Way to pick up the rook SF3.

Yea, we know it isn't you just posting the same message on another board or anything, since a few other messages from clutchcity written by other users such as Crash have been copied over there as well. [IMG]
