Are the Rockets going back to shiny jersey? Because I saw shiny jerseys that Marcus Morris, Donatas Motiejunas, and Chandler Parsons hold before cameras yesterday at press conference. Or is it just used for press conference? Look at picture here. ]
Everyone else is going with a retro minimalist look. So maybe "dated" unintentionally goes right into the trend
I want to know how Donuts has been in Houston for like one day and found the shiniest Rockets polo ever built.
can't stand the giant sleeve holes that go down to the navel and the straps that extend wider than the shoulders
Agreed. They got to change those uniforms, they're ugly. Get it back to the retro ones. I rather have those pajama ones that we had for a few years in the late 90's.
Whoa, whoa, whoa let's not get all crazy up in here. The pajamas were like Rocky V to me, they never happened.
I noticed the same thing about the shiny jerseys. And although I am all about changing the unis and logos to a more classic look, if I had to stick with the current jerseys, I much prefer the shiny red over the current fabric used in the game. Unfortunately, it looks like the shiny jersey is used only for press conference purposes. See this picture of Brad Miller holding his shiny jersey (taken prior to the 2010-11 season, when the new fabric was used in-game).
What was the official reasoning for changing our colors and logo in the first place. It is completely escaping me.
That should be his nickname. I like the unis but the logo does have to be redesigned. I wouldn't want them to revert back to any of the old logos, though. They're all horrible, even the championship logo. Morris looks taller than 6'7.
