ok i personally feel this game was very poorly officiated....but i bet you wont here a single rocket whine.....oh well we wil close it out in h-town what do yall think
24 Houston fouls to 12 Portland fouls, and I think we had more points in the paint than they did. Do I need to say anything else?
It wasn't that bad. The 4th qrtr is where it got bad. That cluster of 4 fouls in two or three mins was ridiculous. But even then we had our chances and we let them slip away.
That's the thing... We had our chances, then the refs decided to get stingy for that two minute stretch. Once the Blazers got a comfortable lead, the refs became normal again. Oh well, no more games on NBATV. This is good... we win all the other games.
Poorly officiating game ever since the playoff started. 24 houston fouls against 12 portland fouls? Are you serious refs? See Ya In Houston!!!
yes we got more fouls called on us but that is no excuse. we were in the game and at the end we had very poor shot selection and the ones we did throw up were not falling
It was the worst officiated game of the series imo. It was pretty bad the whole game and it became a joke in the 4th quarter.
Best $25k Nate ever spent However, we didn't move the ball at all and Aaron Brooks did a terrible job in running the offense tonight. Too much dribbling and panicking
Honestly the game was decently officiated. I didnt see the first quarter though. We had a chance against a very talented team on their court with their backs to the wall. The fact that we were up 4 near the end is a great sign. I think we will be very ready for them in game 6 and we just need to close it out.
quick question. was this fourth quarter anybody else's most pissed off you've been with the refs in this series?
Hate to break this to you. The Rockets always whine about officiating, warranted or not. And no, Game 2 was the worst officiated. How quickly you all forget.
The officiating was great for 40 minutes or so. Then the Rockets took the lead... and the good officiating went out the window. It was very mysterious.
I was so pissed that I yelled obscenities as loud as I could and I punched my TV. Not a good reaction.
The one BIG call that upset me was when Wafer drove baseline, and Fernandez bumped him and there was no call. While Roy drew a foul twice driving baseline and getting bumped. That is what really got me upset.
Once the 4th qtr hit, and it was clear the Blazers needed a bit more help. The refs swooped in. It was officiated great, they they stopped letting us play defense and called our guys for fouls on their moving screens. Just a bunch of obvious calls went their way all of a sudden.
