I'm going to say Yes, they've just been destroyed by 2 teams that are going to make the playoffs.

They are pretenders to me now.

Nelson is ripping Parker a new one tonight.

Inteested Stat: They are 27th or worse in everything in terms of scoring easy points.

Aside from Bowen and Finley, their core players aren't over the hill. I think Duncan has at least another 2 or 3 years of great play in him.

If Parker, Ginobili and Duncan stay healthy, they'll be there in the end. They were in 1st place in our division just a couple of days ago, right? That's pretty solid considering how many games Ginobili and Parker missed.

The Spurs have played 24 games so far. Manu has missed 12; TP has missed 9. Those stats don't mean anything at this point. They have also added a bunch of new players who are still learning Pop's way.

The Spurs are a work in progress and it's too early to make a judgment. They are part of the big glop of 8 teams in the West separated by only 2 1/2 games.

They should trade Parker for a good C and a good SF. Hill is a better fit for the current spurs.

you capitalised 'hill' - which made me think this was going to be a clever poll about how much game George Hill has and whether or not the Spurs are playing him enough minutes.

    :p

Haha... man... this is your 3rd poll and they've all been pretty lopsided against you. Artest is not more valuable than T-Mac, Drexler is not a better commentator than Bullard, and the Spurs are definitely NOT over the hill.

    What's next?

man did you see the hornets catch up! I will say this though, Spurs arent a team Ia m really worried about although we need a answer for bonner if he plays the 5.

I agree, I don't think they are a threat anymore.

They seem to be a team that's just there that can hurt you though if you don't matchup well.

I don't think the Spurs are concerned about winning every game, just peaking for the playoffs. They are getting old though, and the clock is ticking.

I don't think so, they keep replenishing with young talent. They have several "no-names" playing well. If they want to trade Parker the Rockets should take him. No, we get Barry who is on a walker or something, and couldn't hit a shot to save his life before he went out.

Yes, if by over the hill you mean they will only get worse within the next few years. They still have Timmy, Ginobili, and Parker so they're good but i think what is making them worse is that they are no longer the team that old stars and good role players flock to for a chance at a ring.

I am predicting that neither the Spurs, Suns, Mavs, or Jazz make it out of the first round.

They started slow last year... theyll make the playoffs and the experience they have along with the coaching will get them to at least the 2nd round

I think this is the last season for the spurs before they go over the hill, next year, they will be old and not going to do anything, but this year they are still a good team
