Are Rockets games televised in Austin?

Rarely, apparently, Austin is within Spurs country, so FOXSW shows mainly Spurs game. The only way to watch the majority of the game is to order NBA Direct Ticket via Satellite or Cable.

 

Bernie gives the sad and sorry truth. We're afflicted with the curse of the Spurs... I get League Pass for $$$ (bummer!).

 

Yeah the 4 years I was in college in Austin I saw maybe 2 Rocket games on FSSW. Spurs, Spurs, And more god-awful Spurs! TNT, ESPN, and ABC are showing a whopping 6 Rock games this year, so it looks like you gotta get League Pass. Damn I'm glad I moved back to Houston last year. Thoese Season Tickets were great! Can't wait for this year...oh wait, I'm moving to Miami for law school in a month. Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damnit! I gotta get League Pass too!

 

Yes, the only place you can see them is at Showplace Lanes, off the freeway. They have a season pass and show every Rockets game throughout the year. And will do it again next year.

Showplace Lanes, is in north Austin on the Westside of the freeway.

 

You can also see them at The Tavern, BW3, and Aussies.

We get together at least once a month.

They need to relocate the Spurs, move them to Charlotte over something. I hate watching the Rockets pregame show and then having it cut over to a sorry Spurs game on Fox Sports SW.
