In a way I am..not scared but nervous...It just seems that us Yao supporters argue for ya with much more logic..

Most of us are hoping he will be great, but understand that he might only be Okay, or even suck.

On the other hand most Yao haters simply say "yao sucks" and dont think he has a shot. Id hate to be proven wrong by those ignoramousii.

A good friend of mine says he wont cheer for yao even if he is good because Yao has gotten too much hype and never proven himself.

Did yao create all thsi hype? all he wants to do is play ball...

Lets give credit where credit is due...

Yao is going to come here to play in the NBA..and has to pay his team and China, more than he is going to make off his rookie salary...

If that aint gangsta, i dont know what is....

PS hope you Yao supporters in houston have a bed ready for yao, he may need it.

Also I urge Yao Supporters and Haters to not Judge Yao based off what they see in the World Championships...I think his game there will be much different then how he plays in the NBA, whether good or bad.

Instead, watch to see Yaos understanding of the game, how he moves, how he adjusts to different situations etc..

He is a young player...the key thing is whether his basketball IQ is high.

For the most part the Anti-Ming argument has revolved around the imbalance of the politics involved with the situation. The issue of red tape has been blown out of proportion even though there is plenty of Chinese support behind Ming landing in the NBA. I sit back and read more and more concern over the Chinese bureaucracy rather from the basketball standpoint. Look Wang Zhi Zhi(Excuse me if the spelling is wrong). The man is part of the red army and he didn't get pulled during the season or playoffs. So is this really an issue if Ming ultimately is cleared to be drafted? And people want to trade this pick for a man who WOULD be pulled for games if caught with chronic again? Please. Ming is a risk no doubt. But every basketball move made by each NBA franchise whether it be trade, draft or what have you it is all a risk. And the draft is the mother of all risks. Some pan out and others don't. But you have to go out on a limb eventually and take that risk and bite the bullet. The Rockets are in position to draft a monster who has above average ability for his size. Shut up and play ball.
