Is that real and do you know who that astronaut is? I wonder if he has ever been interviewed about it. It just seems like that would have been a huge story.
I almost hate to open myself up to this but ... I had the amazing opportunity to see all 9 events from this particular mission. The video I saw was direct from NASA through Rockwell -- first generation -- what you see in that video is horrible quality. The original tape is an incredible thing to see -- crystal clear images of objects moving through low orbit in ways human tech should not allow. All nine events on that mission left me speechless -- the only explanation I can come up with is somehow advanced highly secret DOD tests were filmed and got out into the system before they could be swept away. Nasa prepared an official explanation of what took place in the video above -- waste water jettisoned by the shuttle was caused to move at a right angle do to a correction made by the shuttles positioning system.

There's a reason that all shuttle communications to Earth are now encrypted. They started encrypting right after they discovered that HAM radio operators all over the world were listening to them talking about alien spacecraft.
