Last year, the cavs lost in EC finals because of their defense. From this game, I don't think their defense being improved. Maybe, when Shaq is back, the defense will be better. But, if they keep this level of defense, they won't be able to win the title this season either.
It's one game.. and like Jon Barry and Mike Wilbon were saying in the halftime show.. Cleveland's pretty much wrapped up the season... I think they're not really playing, not to taking anything away from Boston's incredible half though.
They lost to the Magic last year because of Mo Williams and their sorry defense on Dwight Howard. Like Hubie Brown said, if Shaq comes back and can defend Howard decently one-on-one, most of the defensive problems against the Magic are solved right there. In the playoffs, I think the Cavs will raise their game on defense. It wouldn't surprise me if the Celts crumble in the 2nd half today. It's a recurring theme with them.
I have to say... LeBron has gotten manhandled.... the referees aren't even calling the obvious fouls for him. That last travel call was 100% BS... the guy got mauled by Tony Allen and then they call a travel because the ball was knocked away while he was also bumped... just stupid. He traveled because he was ****ing fouled.
You are DEAD wrong. Didn't you know that LeBron owns all NBA officials and the refs favor the Cavs every single game they play? This is because David Stern wants it that way. I order you to wash your keyboard with soap right now.
Jeez... I'm telling you, it's sickening to watch this game in the 2nd half... the officiating for Cleveland has truly been pathetic. I mean, some of these calls, I can see them missing... but damn, if they're going to call it on one end, Cleveland should get the same benefit at the other end.
Say what you want, the magic is going to take the EC. Lebron is going to get beat by either the hawks or magic. The magic just got better than last year. Vc (2nd half) has been playing better than turkoglu was last year, they also got Matt barnes who plays really good defense, Anderson (correct spelling?) so that when dh12 gets doubled team he can step out and sink it, as well as peitrus, Lewis, barnes, reddick, Carter, and Nelson. And to help out Howard they got bass and gortat. The magic are easily the most flexible team in the NBA. They can play small or big. But I guarantee you lebron won't make it past even with shaq and Jamison As for the WC it's blurry to see who's going to win, Dallas, Denver or kob..Los Angeles.
You have no knowledge of basketball.... The Cavaliers also got better since last year... adding Shaq and Jamison... which is bigger than adding VC, at least IMO. The Lakers will solidify the West... it's not blurry... They're going to get Bynum back soon and continue their dominance.
That's why LeBron is the best. he is gonna come at you no matter what and you can't really stop him. Great effort. He is really motivated this year. I hate Cavs, I hate LeBron but that guy deserves a ring. This game shows you why.
Agree with you. Props to the Cavs for fighting back in such a meaningless game. The Celts are doing their standard 4th quarter meltdown at home again. If the Cavs could buy an outside shot, they will win this going away. If that wasn't a foul on KG on LeBron's layup, there is no such thing as a foul.
