I'm looking for an android app that plays mp3's. But I want one that I can play/sort by genre (not playlist). I download a lot of songs and recreating playlists repeatedly by genre gets too annoying. Anyone got a suggestion?

Funny you should ask, I haven't found one music app I like yet. I'm actually making one in my spare time.

But I agree Mixzing is your best bet.

Mixzing wins for graphic equalizer, and downloads the album art, big win for me since I dl all my music right to my phone on tunee. It also has a "mood" player where it selects music of similar taste for a playlist.

Kind of along the same lines, but y'all should check out Audiogalaxy. You go to its site and connect a music folder on your computer to the site, then you can listen to all the songs on your comp through your phone. Pretty nice.

I like MortPlayer Music. It sorts songs by folder, which is how I like it. Keeps it organize with my albums and my occassional single tracks I like to add.

While the subject of MP3 is being discussed what is a good down loader to replace limewire for downloading mp3 to computer safely ?
