Looking at some potential career paths.. thought about this one. Wondering what your work entails, what certs you have, what tangible skills you have. Also what kind of mind is well-suited to this sort of work?
we have a couple GIS technicians at my company. both have GIS certificates and degrees in geography/earth science. they provide mineral & title ownership mapping for oil and gas clients. seems pretty cool and laid back, pays well, and the maps are pretty. I don't really know anything past that, though.
