As you may know I had a raffle fundraiser for my 10 and Under Boys AAU Basketball team.
Two of our prizes can most likely be found at your store.

    - Apple iPod Shuffle 1GB

    - Canon SD200 ELPH - digital camera

Although we did a great job and worked very hard at fundraising, our budget is still very tight. We have qualified for Nationals in Cocoa Beach, Florida in July and have yet to find a sponsor for our team.

What I am asking is for you to do a good deed and let us use your employee discount when purchasing the above items so that we may save some cash for our trip to Florida.

    Can anyone help out?

    Thanks!

We are a brand new team this year. Funds are very tight.
Of course we could afford the prizes. But we did not need to buy them until after the "drawing".
    We had 1,000 tickets.
    Tickets started at 000-999.
We used the Texas Pick 3 on 3 different days, for the 3 different prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd Places) , so there would not have to be a public drawing and people could watch the news, check the paper etc. to see if they won.
We sold about 80% of the tickets, therefore there was a 20% chance that no one would win each night. (This was not done on purpose, but we fell just short of selling all of our tickets. Mostly this was due to lazy parents who sat on hundreds of tickets for several weeks procrastinating.)
If no one won, we do not want to be stuck with the prize, and would instead use that money for the team.
So far 3rd and 2nd Place has had winners. Those are the 2 prizes mentioned above.
1st place drawing is tonight for $500 cash.

If you still wish to buy a ticket I accept paypal at bangelle@bdmi-ce.com for $5.50 a ticket.

I hope someone can help us save a couple of bucks.
Im going around to stores later today to beg.

    Thanks!

UPDATE: I went to CompUSA they will do it since I am a tax free entity, not much of a discount though. $141 for iPod shuffle (reatials $149.99, and $259.75 for the camera. I found the camera online for $231.40 SHIPPED!!! on cnet.com :(

Email me your phone number, I'll call you from work today to see how much my employee discount would be. Although, I don't believe you'd be able to do both employee discount and Tax exempt.

I know almost for sure, that you won't get anything off of the Ipod Shuffle...as we barely mark up any Apple/PC products, but you never know. :)

Anyway, hit up my email with your number, and I'll call you later around 6-7.
