I know it's going to be a while untill the next Rockets season, but does anyone know how to put Rockets games in the season pass (to record every Rockets game.)

When I try doing it, it tells me i have a "season pass for all games "Rockets @ Spurs,"" meaning that it will only record games where Rockets are playing the Spurs on an Away game.

Anyone that has been able to do it, I'm assuming it's possible since that is one of the best reasons to get a Tive, to tape rockets games, please post how you did it.

I usually will program my TIVO the day of the game or the day before.

Are you trying to do it far in advance?

TiVo is a service that automatically records your favorite shows every time they air, even if the timeslot changes. Watch what you want, when you can.

No more aimless channel surfing, no more rigid network schedules where "primetime" is dinner time, no more interruptions like phone calls, and no more missing out on great programming you're paying for. With TiVo, you're always in control. Both of what you watch and when.

After the recording is done, how long will the TIVO save the recording?

Its permanent until you erase it. My Tivo/Dish Network will hold 80 hours worth of programming.

Time Warner in Austin offers DVR (Digital Video Recorder) which is basically Tivo for digital cable. It's about $9.95 a month. I don't know how much Tivo costs.

I have TIVO also and try to record the Rockets games, but since I live in Austin during the school year Fox Sports SW is the station for Spurs not Rockets so I cant get a season pass for them which may be the same for you if you are not in Houston?? BTW if you dont have a tivo you are missing out because it is the most useful 400 bucks I ever spent. (400 includes the lifetime service)

TIVO is the best thing out there...I have about 30 - 40 shows I record (Sopranos is on top)...It's a VCR on steriods, w/o the tape...It downloads all the shows and their times in advance...Pauses live TV (in case you gotta go) for up to a 1/2 hour (in case you really gotta go)...

I haven't tried the entire Rockets Season, altought my first thought is you can't do just a Rockets season...(e.g. Sometimes on Fox, 51, etc...)...I agree with the first guy and do it the day of or day before...Until we get a Rockets only channel, you wouldn't be able to do it...

A Keyword-based WishList would probably record too much stuff, but it'll catch all the games.

From the main TiVo Menu, choose "Pick Programs to Record" > "Search Using WishLists" > "Create New WishList" > "Keyword WishList". Enter a keyword of, for example, "HOUSTON ROCKETS" (including the quotes, which are typed with the Pause key) and choose "Done entering keywords".

After that, choose the "Sports" and "Basketball" category and sub-category. From the Done Creating WishList screen, you can select "Auto-record WishList programs" and choose your recording options as usual.

Now, your WishList will apprear in the Season Pass Manager as "Sports/Basketball & "HOUSTON ROCKETS"". Move it around as desired.

    Hope this helps!
