    It's the 18th inning, LaRussa puts in a positional player (felipe lopez) to pitch. He started the game at SS. Lopez hit a grand slam last night...and now he is pitching against the guy(valdez) who gave up the grand slam.

    Lopez actually got an out against Blanco.

    WTF...

    Now Valdez got a single but got thrown out trying to go to 2nd on a wild throw by the current SS.

    it is easily the weirdest game I have ever seen. It's hilarious how many wtf moments there have been.

    I think LaRussa has wanted to lose this game since around the 12th inning. The Mets sucktitude is trying to not make that happen.

    Lohse pitched vs. Astros on Thursday. Not sure how many pitches he threw in that game, but one game early in the season isn't worth injuring a pitcher over.
